December 30, 1924, The Day Someone Realized The Milky Way Does Not Equal The Entire Universe
This isn't the universe either. Who knew?
In this wonderful Wired article, it tells about how Edwin Hubble discovered (through the aid of a really powerful telescope) that stars from the Andromeda “Nebula” were actually from the Andromeda “Galaxy”, a whole different galaxy from the Milky Way. This meant that the universe was suddenly much, much larger than it had been perceived to be up to this point. This seems like common sense to me today, much like how the planets revolve around the sun. But this is within the lifetime of a good many people still alive. That amazes me, and it makes me wonder how many other wonderful things that we humans haven’t found out about yet. I can’t wait, and I hope I live long enough to find out about something equally as amazing as the realization that our galaxy isn’t the only one out there.

Was Vader there and directly involved? If so, did he reveal himself and have a conversation with them at the table over some blue milk? Or did he just blow them away? And really, no one else in any of the movies ever showed up blowtorched. What kind of weapons did they use?
