Digg founder Kevin Rose saving his dog from a raccoon…by throwing the raccoon down a flight of steps. Slightly shocking, but what else could he do? http://www.blameitonthevoices.com/2013/07/digg-founder-kevin-rose-saves-his-dog.html

How to kill a lot of money for one day of your life: http://cheezburger.com/7683971072 (Note: my wife and I had a fairly simple ceremony, but we did spend a decent chunk of money on our wedding cake. Check out “The Cake Gallery” in Omaha/Reston, Nebraska. Best tasting cake I have had on EARTH, and it looked amazing. You can get their wedding cake as a cupcake, which we happen to do whenever we’re in town.)

I’m assuming this is some footage shot for Star Trek: Phase II (the would-be TV series being produced until Paramount decided to go with a full-fledged film).
Of course he means the commonly accepted Solar System we were taught when I was a kid. Of course, there’s the Kuiper Belt, the other dwarf planets, the Heliopause, etc. The fact is, we don’t know what else might be out there in our own solar system. It’s a great time to be alive, with all the new discoveries, at a faster pace than ever before.
The full, interesting story (a prank that backfired, sort of) is here:
Great voice, lousy look. But when I was 22, I would have killed to have a beard that long.
edit: I guess the driver of the motorcycle is semi-famous, due to playing football for Florida State:

Okay, I understand he doesn’t like interviews. There was an interview years ago for Die Hard 4 (I think), on ZDTV / G4TV (again, I’m not positive) where the interviewer went off-script for a couple questions, and Bruce tore him (or her, I’m really bad at remembering things today) a new asshole. But the interviewer in this case doesn’t appear to have a strict script, and it’s a freaking 5 minute interview. The least he could do is not be a total prick about it, do the interview, and get the hell out of there for a beer or something. It must be tough to be a multi-millionaire with a 10th house in Sun Valley, Idaho, having to actually work for FIVE F***ING MINUTES.
Edit: I found a Fark link to the TechTV (I was close, since ZDTV became TechTV, which was bought out by G4TV…whatever) interview I was trying to remember (a link I can’t reach due to a firewall, natch). The Fark comments link is here: http://www.fark.com/comments/462727/3173725#c3173725
This should make up for a weekend of no updates on Bugloaf, right?
This one is about 12 years old, but one of my favorites.

I’m posting this under a separate post (not a “Link-Dump), because I want to select the Best of Bugloaf category. I love old radio shows, and having a bunch in one place, for free, is pretty neat.
