Triumph the Insult Comic Dog at the Great American Beerfest
I went there in the early 00’s, and had a FANTASTIC time. Plus, I got to know the beers regions I love (the Rocky Mountains area) and the regions I kind of loathe (the Northeast, outside of Boston, which is ‘ight).

American Beer
I tend to disagree…but my go-to beers are Killians (formerly-Irish beer bought out by Coors and brewed in Colorado), Smithwick’s (brewed in Ireland by Guinness), and Magic Hat (brewed in…holy crap, it was originated and is still brewed in Vermont, in the USA. Wow. I did not know that.). But Sam Adams is pretty decent too.

I Want To Steal This Sign
It’s on the wall of the Hard Times bar in Arlington, Virginia…but I’m not exactly the thieving kind. I’ll just have to go there more often to see it on the wall as I enjoy some Irish brew.

Oktoberfest!!
Hey, I almost forgot! If you’re going to be in the Leesburg, Virginia area, you gotta hit Oktoberfest either tonight or tomorrow at Doener Bistro. (Click to open the .pdf flyer for the festivities.) This is my favorite restaurant in Virginia, an awesome, small-ish place with a lot of great beer and awesome German Fast-Food. Tonight there’s going to be some good ol’ Traditional Bavarian music, and possibly some more modern stuff too. See, Doener is run and staffed by Germans who emigrated here, so they know their wursts. Seriously, you gotta go. It’s just great food, fun atmosphere, and it’s in a great town.
If you want to know more, their website is permanently linked over on the right in my great restaurants list. >>>
