Spoiler: the short answer is we still don’t know why, exactly. But here are some good leads. For enquiring minds. I pulled it from this post about Australian neat stuff.
This wouldn’t work for me, because I tend to eat popcorn by the handful, like a starving guy just walking out of the desert and happening upon a banquet smorgasbord at an oasis (only to find out it was really just a mirage, but at least he’s happy for a few seconds, and this analogy is getting way too long so I’ll cut it short now).
1. Did you mean Pugloaf?
2. Did you mean Big Loaf?
3. Did you mean Big Laugh?
4. Did you mean Bug Leaf?
5…Well, I didn’t really get to 5, actually. It just kept on reverting to Pugloaf again. Which is actually very cute. The reason why I was googling my own site wasn’t out of vanity (well, not ENTIRELY anyhow). I was trying to find something I posted a while back…an album art generator.
See, it was kind of like your porn-name generator (1. Take your first pet’s name. That’s your porn-star persona’s first name. 2. Take the street where you grew up. That’s your p-s p’s last name. 3. My porn-star persona’s name is Yogi Highland). Except, you combine some factors to get album art.
The first part was to go to Wikipedia and hit Random Article, then take the first quote from the article…or something like that. You did something similar for an album title, and then searched through some image site for album art.
Well, I can’t seem to find it right off the bat. I’m trying to create a CD-sleeve as a present for my wife for a belated X-mas present. The band is going to be “Mystik Spiral” from Daria.
Or, I might just give her the CD with something drawn on the back. Eh, whatever.
EDIT: I went a different direction. Here’s what I ended up with. And yes, it’s supposed to look this bad. I have a mis-formatted CD insert (Country Church), then what would be the CD booklet for the front (Furious D). Both are pixelated to hell, and look absolutely terrible (beyond the fact that they were questionable album covers to begin with). I think it’ll work just fine.
I tried setting this to post earlier this morning, but it showed up blank. I don’t know why, but whatever, here you go!
