Correction on the ‘Simpsons Who?’ address

Yeah, sorry about that. It’s actually SimpsonsWho.blogspot.com. I missed a very crucial ‘s’. Yikes.

(Thanks to Charlie Sweatpants at the Dead Homer Society blog for pointing out the gaffe!)

334th Anniversary of the Western Discovery of Dinosaurs

Okay, I don’t have the exact date, but sometime in 1676 the Megalosaurus was discovered near Chipping NortonOxfordshire, England. It took until sometime after 1815 for Rev. William Buckland to realize that large bones being discovered were not of the mythical giants described in the Old Testament Bible, but were from a large lizard, later known to be dinosaurs. Although what that specifically has to do with a dinosaur eating a Jesus-fish, I haven’t a clue. But it’s a funny picture none-the-less.

Picard Giving Directions

Oh, also you can check out another project of mine, “Simpson Who?” “Simpsons Who?“. The premise: someone from our universe who is trapped in Springfield. Nothing exists until it first exists on The Simpsons. So far I’m just in season 1 of the Tracy Ullman Show shorts, with season 2 to arrive sometime in March. I hope you enjoy it.

By the way, thanks to Charlie Sweatpants at the Dead Homer Society blog for pointing out my gaffe.

Happy 133rd Birthday, Nebraska!

Well, I did time (in the Air Force) in ol’ Nebrasky for all of 4 years, with another 2 years spent dinking around Omaha and Papillion, so I suppose I’m sort of a Nebraskan. At any rate, Nebraska was admitted to the Union 133 years ago today. For your listening pleasure, here’s Beautiful Nebraska by Scarlet and Cream.
