Argh, not The Well!

So…I had a nice happy-fun time Geocaching today, the first time in 2 months having done so. However…despite the fact that I got to get rid of this butt-ugly pink troll doll wearing a Geotag, I could not find this one cache that it seems everybody and their Mama has found. It’s The Well, which is part 3 of a 3-parter. This means you have to find the first two caches first, then you’ll be given instructions on how to find the 3rd.

Personally, I find this annoying. I mainly go for ‘caching for a bit of mild-to-moderate vertical exercise, so I just want my caches easy-cheezy. However, since this one was ranked only a 1.5-star, I figured…why not?

Ugh…I found the first two in the 3-parter within 25 minutes TOTAL. It took 90 minutes on-site at the coordinates for The Well before my GPS gave up. No, I was still wanting to find this *(##$&*#@(&$…but my GPS battery ran out. I had to find my way back to my car using a good ol’ Compass. It was keen, and it gave me enough time to wander about and cool off. No road-rage for me, thank-you.

Last weekend, we bought some fish, and now we have a few more for the collection. Here’s a pic:

There’s 3 Tiger Barbs, 3 Blue Gourami’s, 3 standard Neons, 3 black Neons, and 3..”Whats-its” that I can’t remember. Oh, and two bottom suckers…Asian eels or something. It’s a full tank, and it’s the first fishtank we’ve had since June.

Pointless Endeavor: Update non-event

So, nothing’s really new. Yeah. I’d actually update you more often, but there really isn’t anything new. I’m still going through school. Oh, I did get screwed out of my weekend by mandatory training. I did earn time-and-a-half, but for how lousy the training was, I would have paid the time-and-a-half dollars just to get out of going to the fricking thing. Seriously, about 2/3 of the cost of a Nintendo Wii is what I would have spent to have not gone to this thing.

I’m going to change the subject, because my stomach hurts from a TV dinner that I *might* have undercooked by about a minute, and and my blood pressure is rising from talking about that horrible two-day debacle. No, I’m going to talk about…something else.

Ooh, I did come up with a whole bunch of things to talk about…but I want to wait to share them with you until I can get into the studio and do a 2nd Kraznoy podcast. Besides, the list of goodies is at work. I can tell you that one of the topics will be “Why Goldfinger is the best James Bond movie ever, and why it’s horribly dated and shouldn’t compare with Bond movies of recent years, excepting Die Another Day, which was a complete turkey”. There’s a definite duality to the movie. It’s a victim of the era it was in, for the slow pace and the bad acting chops of at least one mis-cast person, namely Gert Fröbe, who looks like a complete and utter pansy. However, it’s also the Bond movie that made the mold for almost all subsequent Bond movies (perhaps with the exception of Casino Royale and For Your Eyes Only [one of the most underrated Bond movies, a must-see]).

Enough of that. I have more, but it’s going to be a short podcast anyhow. I’ll try to take care of it on Tuesday if I can get the studio time to do so. I know I don’t have anyone waiting on pins and needles or anything.

Besides this, ugh, the Election. I can’t wait for it to be over. I’m tired of talking about it, and dodging the question of “Who are you voting for?”. Invariably the people who are asking either want to praise the guy I’m voting for, or to demonstrate why I’m a complete bonehead for voting for him. I don’t want to be in either discussion. I’m right, but I don’t want or need to tell you why, or to hear you tell me why, or whatever.

That’s it…post over, I’m not relaxing, I’m stressing. Bye.
