The fact that I’m still laughing about this 21 years later tells me it was an effective joke.
I felt then and now that this song could have been released in the 1960s with some success as well.
This was originally going to be on the 2nd Adams Family movie’s soundtrack. Then the criminal charges against Michael happened. So this song finally appeared on another album.
(Or the character that David Hyde Pierce played shortly before landing Niles on Frasier. This is the chronically suicidal character Theodore Van Horne on the short-lived sitcom The Powers That Be)
I wore out my Vanilla Ice tape, and he’s still a not-so-guilty pleasure of mine.
I’ve posted this before, but given how crappy I’m feeling this week, the phrase came to mind. Despite everything; chin up, chest forward, and kill the commmie bastards where they stand. Or something like that.
This came out 20 years ago. Wow.
I watched the CRAP out of this show in its heyday. This was before there were many choices on TV, mind you.
